About

Minimal Logic is an audiovisual and interactive art production studio specializing in software and multimedia systems for contemporary art installations. This includes developing creative and customised technical systems that realise artistic visions and building custom control software, embedded systems, and monitoring tools that preserve and allow artworks to operate reliably over time.

Minimal Logic collaborates with artists, agencies, and institutions to translate ideas into robust technical systems — from early prototyping to installation and long-term operation. The studio is based between Basel (Switzerland) and the Milan area (Italy). It takes on projects throughout Europe.

Minimal Logic is run by Erik Eggeling who has a background in Civil Engineering (Lund University, Sweden) and Architectural Lighting Design (Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden) and worked at iart ag – studio for media architectures in Basel, Switzerland from 2019 to 2024, developing software systems for large-scale interactive installations and media architecture projects.
